Gemechis Alami
He grew up in the countryside of Ethiopia. At fourteen, he encountered God, was saved, and felt called to "Preach the Word." This has been his mission throughout his ministry. Pastor Gemechis Alami has held various roles in Ethiopia, including evangelist, pastor, teacher, and outreach ministry leader. He founded Global Gospel Mission (GGM) in March 2020, just before the church building locked down in USA due to COVID-19. He enjoys spending time in prayer, with a deep desire for more of Jesus. A passionate reader of spiritual books, he believes preachers should always be learners. He hopes to convey love and compassion to everyone he meets and share his sense of humor. He desires to see God's kingdom grow through ministry. He married his wife Genet Eshete in 2009 and has a son, Natenale, and two daughters, Abigail and Lillian.
